Tackle Football

We have been under extreme heat advisories the past few weeks with 115 degree temps, but that doesn't stop outdoor sports here?!

The weekend before last Chase's football team played scrimmage games across town at AZ Cardinals Stadium. Was pretty cool to play out there other than the HOT temps!!

Chase, Tatum and I got out there by 1 pm for an opening ceremony to celebrate all of the teams valleywide.
Chase's first scrimmage stated at 4 pm with another one at 5. Luckily Jim made it just in time after work for his scrimmages!
We made it through with tons of water and snow cones!!

This past weekend was his first game....
They share the name Blackhawks with the local High School they play at.
And who wouldn't want to be out there in that heat in all black with full pads and helmets ;)
Chase still thinks it's the greatest thing EVER!!

Even with the heat, it's pretty cool to sit up in the High School stands and watch Chase play out there.

A bit far away but he is one of the kids in there going after the boy with the ball.....

Although they lost their 1st game against The Fury, Chase is loving it!!!
