Last weekend we took a tour of University of Phoenix Stadium where the Cardinals play.
We get inside in a small group of only about 15 of us.
We were there with a few of the families from Chase's football team.
When we get in everyone is excited to be the only ones in the joint!
It is game day tomorrow and the Cardinals grass is rolled outside to grow and get ample sun and only brought into the stadium the day before a game! They just rolled it in.
The lady says we will get the chance to go all over, even see the locker room and go onto the field.
She goes on to say we are there at an opportune time as they only let people on the field til noon when the grass has been brought in before a game and it is only 9 am.
I tell Chase I am gonna tackle him right there on the field and he is super excited!!!
Off we go downstairs!!
The lady rushes us right by the Cardinals locker room...
Wait lady, there it is??.....
She takes us into the visiting team locker room...
They seriously don't want the opposing team to feel welcomed!
It is all very gray and plain.
Here's the kicker...
She only showed us a few posters of what the Cards locker room looks like.
We are all starting to complain about her at this point under our breathes.
All good though cuz we get to go on the FIELD!!!
Nope...nevermind!
Now the lady tells us to only go to the edge and not go as far as the grass.
Pure lies she has told us!! An epic fail!!
Still pretty cool I guess? We got to stand out there and look about. Just not quite what she talked up in the beginning?
We watched the roof open up while we were there.
Walked into one of the suites.
Then stopped for lunch next door, Margaritaville!

It was an awesome game they won in the end!!!
