When I asked if the annual Turkey Bowl Jim plays in would be cancelled he replied "no way...this is a man's game"!! And so it was ... they played out there in a pit of mud......
The kids still had fun playing football on the sidelines and drinking hot chocolate.....
We were ready for the rain.....bring it on.... (luckily it never did)
This was Turkey Bowl 31 for this crazy group of guys that started it back in high school. Now many of their kids are playing. Just a matter of time before Chase jumps in. Think Jim has been playing with them now for the last 12-14 yrs???
Get back to Grandma Fieg's for some more football.....

Ended up being a nice day after all so we enjoyed our meal outside....
Oh yea... more football. Don't think Chase sat down all day... not even to eat!!
While Chase is in the back playing ..... a moment of rest with Tatum....

It is always a great day when family is together. Brian, Sandy and Emily we missed you soooo much! I was thankful for so many blessings and especially for co operation from the weather to "hold the rain". Thank you to everyone who helped to make the meal and day a success.
