Jim and I got away this past weekend to San Francisco.
He has won an award through work, for I believe the past 6 years now, and they have brought us on some pretty nice trips. This years was no exception....

Getting there was an obstacle when our morning flight was CANCELLED due to mechanical problems. So it ended up taking the whole day after another missed flight. We ended up flying into San Jose late that afternoon and they sent a bus to come get us and drive us to San Francisco. Crazy Day of travel!!
That night we had a great dinner with the group and then met up with an old childhood friend of mine now living in San Francisco.

(our tour bus driver was completely crazy and sped up and down the hills and in tight corners but got us up to this point with breathtaking views)
They provided a delicious buffet lunch for us here at Ghiradelli.
Jim and I did a little wandering afterwards and found we could get free samples of their new chocolate with peanut butter center...yum!! We got samples out of two different stores and had some ice cream!

WoW! I have never seen Jim in a tie! You clean up well, Jim! :) Looks like you had a great time there. So jealous you two got away by yourselves, but happy for you! Now, Matt and I want to do something like that... can you DOG and BABY - sit for us!? LOL
