What We Are Up to.....

It has been a long hot summer with some unwanted creatures!

This is for you, Heather.....

This scorpion was on the back patio a few weeks ago.
I just found a tiny baby one by the front door this morning.
I hate these things!!!

Here are the kids snuggling up after Tatum's dance class one week.

We are not opposed to bribery in this house!
When Tatum was having a rough first few weeks adjusting to all day Kindergarten, we took the kids to Build a Bear for a special treat!!
They have been wanting to do this for years!!
Chase made a monkey he named "James" and Tatum made a puppy (of course) in a Cinderella outfit that she named "Tinkerbell"...??

Here is Tatum playing in the sink with the dishwashing bubbles.
She loves to do this!!

We had their friends Sam and J.T. over and amazingly they all sat together with a movie on.
And no, this did not last for very long.

Sweet Tatum can play pretty well in her room with her Barbies and puppies.

And yet there is Chase, so full of energy, that runs up and down the long hallway whenever home, playing football!!

You really gotta stay out of the boys' way!!

After football practice the other night the boys left to see a High School football game and Tatum and I had a little girls night!
We went out to eat a little something together and when we got home she did this...
She is not the greatest company come 8 pm!!

Chase's football game over the past weekend.
He did really well and scored two touchdowns!!
His teacher came to the game to watch him and he was so proud!!!

What do you do after you have played football for an hour and a half out in 100 degree weather??
You come home and play even more football!!
Chase is non-stop!!

Thank you for pic of the scorpion! Disgusting. Did not know they matched the sand color (duh). Always assumed they were dark brown or black. No need to post another pic of one-got the point. *shiver*
