Party Time!

She had to wait a week for her Birthday party with friends but it was well worth it, they had a great time!

Tatum LOVES helping me in the kitchen so we decided to have a "cooking" party!
There were aprons and gift bags all set with the girls' names on them ready to go.

When they got here they got to work decorating their aprons with baking themed stencils. They turned out cute :)

Then they all put on their aprons and made their own individual pizzas!!

While the pizzas were cooking I had them put together their own jar cookie mix to take home.

They all did a great job putting the ingredients in.

Time to eat their creations!

Cupcake decorating!!
There were A LOT of sprinkles used!!

She LOVES this mini pillow pet.

I have quite a few cute pictures of these girls. They were a lot of fun! I can tell you they like to make faces at the camera too :)

Pat's Run!!

A little Pat Tillman history...
Pat Tillman played for Arizona State ( part of while I was still there actually) from 1994-1998.
He was then drafted into the AZ Cardinals where he played until 2002. After aftermath of September 11th he chose to leave the Cardinals and enlist to serve our country. He lost his life in 2004 in Afghanistan. It was originally claimed that Tillman's unit was attacked but then later became known as a cover up to what had actually been friendly fire.
This was the 7th annual "Pat's Run" in his honor held at ASU in Tempe, AZ.

I brought the kids for a day of running!
Pat Tillman's # at ASU was 42 so the adult run was 4.2 miles and the kid's run was .42 miles ending on the 42 yard line in Sun Devil Stadium.

The ASU football team was there and we got some of them to sign the kids' shirts.

A fun kids zone to play in and get warmed up before the run.

Chase rocked the QB throw and made it in every hole :)

You know she had to have cotton candy!

Just before the big start...

They made it and were in awe of the fact they got to finish on the football field.

We just sat up in the stands for a bit at the end, away from the crowd, and took it all in.

Was a cool experience! So glad the kids did it!
