Fieltrip, Football & Dance!

We had a busy-fun few days this past weekend!
It all kicked off Friday with a 3rd Grade field trip to the Sonoran Desert Museum in Tucson.

Note to self.... when offered a chaperone spot on a school bus headed to Tucson (a two hour long ride by bus, 4 hours round trip!!) complete with an entire 3rd grade class of hyped up kids... just say no!! What was I thinking?? Should have driven alongside and just spent the darn gas money!

We made it though and it was a beautiful day! I do love spending time with Chase and his friends on field trips :)

We saw reptiles (that I had no desire to take pictures of) and some cool desert animals.

We get home only to have our first set of recital dance pictures.

Up early the next morning for our second weekend of football playoffs.
Even Tatum gets some practice in...

They did awesome for a team thrown together. A few boys were playing for their first season. They started out 0-3 and went on to win 9 games straight!!
We lost in the semi-final game against the championship team but had a great season!!
So proud of Chase once again and all these boys!

We will always happily cheer on whatever team Chase represents.

And yet again, more recital pics that afternoon after spending half of the day at the football fields. We were spent!

This is the last week of school!!! We are ready for some fun this summer!!
Dance recital, basketball camp, San Diego and Colorado here we come!!! Excited for some long overdue time with family :)
