We have been having a great time over the kids fall break from school!! Got away to Disneyland with Grandma and Grandpa Grisham!! Kids had a blast!! Somehow we managed to see half of the state of AZ while there (seems quite a few people had our same idea for an easy getaway). As soon as we walked in we saw one of our Kindergarten teachers and eventually wound up spotting an AZ TV weatherman, a former Diamond Back player (Chase got to shake his hand), and a girl from Tatum's dance class.
Tatum was most excited about seeing Alice and the Mad Hatter 1st thing Monday morning (she already has an Alice costume for Halloween!!).

We spent Sunday afternoon/night, Monday and Tuesday in Disney and were able to do quite a few rides, see fireworks, parades (Tatum, as usual, took the opportunity to be a part of one of the parades). They handed her a drum at one point...

And here she is out in the conga line...
Chase was a little apprehensive this year to go on any roller coasters (he has memories of being terrified on Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain Railroad last year so wrote off all roller coasters this year!).
But he had fun on many of the other rides!!
Chase took charge of the map this year and loved pulling it out to see where to go next...
Chase wanted to ride with Grandpa on this one!!
Chase is very into Disney Club Penguin toys??
He read on the tag to "collect them all" so he is determined to do just that!
He got two on the trip.
Chase was cute as well! When we rode "It's a Small World" at the end when they announced be ready to disembark to the left he turned to Grandma and said "why do we have to kiss and bark??" I love that you never know what they are gonna find funny or say :-)
Had a great time!! We also spent some time at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. We got to touch sharks, sting rays and other smaller sea life. They loved seeing the sea turtle, jellyfish, seals, the array of different fish and big sharks. Will post more pics when I get a chance.

I'm with Chase on Space Mountain - once was enough for me! It looks like you all had a wonderful time.
