Keepin busy!

I am sad to say, Chase completed another basketball season.
I love watching him play anything but always really enjoy basketball!!
Here he is...the coach is having him demonstrate weaving the ball between his legs.

The coach said some great things about all of the kids. They are a great bunch!
But I was so proud when he brought the team's two left handed dribblers up and said they were naturals at the game and would go far. Chase is just out there having so much fun and doing what he loves when he plays sports.

The biggest highlight to a seven year old (along with getting a cool medal)- one mom brought Jamba Juice smoothies for the whole team. They all love that stuff!!

Basketball in the house too!!
I should write Little Tikes about our "toddler" basketball hoop that has survived all these years with Chase still playing and slam dunking the thing??!!

Just started up another Spring football season.
This time...The Packers!!

Finally!! My own big surprise!!
The school had a Spring Carnival and each class was given the opportunity to create their own raffle basket and hopefully get some proceeds from.
Since I am Tatum's Homeroom mom I had to solicit money from her class and I put together an Ice Cream Sundae Basket to raffle off. Actually turned out pretty cute!

When we got to the Spring Carnival on Saturday I bought 10 raffle tickets and let the kids try to win some of the baskets. Chase was SET on winning "lunch with the Principal"? Tatum desperately wanted the Karate basket complete with lessons??? Me... I was eyeing the chance to win a reserved parking spot at school for the remainder of the year! We just put some tickets in some of the other baskets as well. We left the school unable to hear the winners, got home and I got a text from one of the moms in charge that I won the Pampered Mom Basket!

The kids are not happy!
But I deserve it darnit! I had them on the football field at 7:30 that morning, then back for a second game followed by the afternoon at the carnival. Just look at me! Apparently this is something I need!

I know a few house guests arriving soon that are coming at the perfect time to share in a bit of this!!
