The start to a busy December week...
Snow Day!!!
70 degrees in the warm AZ sun with snow brought in for the kids to experience.
Of course my kids never having seen snow before chose to run down the slippery slope intended for sledding....... luckily no injuries to report!!

Celebrating Christmas and Friendship!!
Saturday night with our close friends....... the kids played Secret Santa to each other and we planned for a big gift opening night for them and nice dinner together for us!!!
Missy thanks for hosting a great night!!! We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends!!
Spent Sunday across town......
We are also lucky to have kept such an ongoing close friendship with my roommate from UofA Jen and husband Tim (who are also responsible for setting Jim and I up long ago!). We try but don't get to see each other nearly enough with living on opposite ends of town. We spent Sunday at their son's 5th birthday and had a great time!!

Gingerbread Fun!!
Tatum got a gingerbread house from friend Jackson Saturday night and was eager to bust it open and get started!! Chase was into decorating one little cookie and then was off to play football through the house!!
It just doesn't get any better for Tatum then to be able to meticulously apply and eat candy!
Her finished product!!! By now it has been snacked on a bit!!

Cool house Tatum! I made one too, but mine looks a little like the "Griswold's". Just a tad too much candy on the front. Glad you and Chase got to experience the fun of playing in snow.
