Jim and I spent the day Xmas shopping yesterday while the kids were at school. Think we made out pretty well. The kids are fairly easy to please. If you take Tatum down the toy aisle and ask what she wants for Christmas she quickly gets to it saying "I want dat and dat and dis one and dat one" until she has pointed to everything and says "and dats it!!".
And then there is Chase....... Seems the trend this year among Chase (and a gazillion other little boys) is the Bakugan!! We know this. We thought we were prepared. We have some already but it is for sure a hot item and has become hit or miss to find!
It is taking me back a few years when Chase was into Disney Pixar Cars and we (okay I) became obsessed with finding different ones and completing our set while Disney was always one step ahead producing newer ones all of the time! It also reminds me of the whole Cabbage Patch craze back when I was a kid. I know my mom and Grandma were not opposed to turning to the black market if it came to that to get me one at Christmas time.
I came across and picked up a Wii system a few months ago and I was thrilled when Chase put on his Santa list a Mario Wii game. Although I was crushed the other day when he was reviewing his list and decided to cross it off.
me: "Why are you crossing that off Chaser?"
Chase: "Decided I don't want it cuz I don't have the whole system"
me: "Well why don't you write the system down on your list then?"
Chase: "Nah..... don't want it anymore"
me: gulp!!
So here we are again..... the most wonderful time of the year and I think we are prepared!! Hopefully the kids are excited about our picks?? We'll be finding out soon!!

Hey Linda,
still lost on the whole shopping thing...can you let me know what you guys got for the kids and also what I can get? :)
Thank you!
Tis the season.
I can still remember the l-o-n-g lines for those cabbage patch dolls. I have kept each and every one. No way I will ever get rid of those girls (and a guy). Finding Transformers for Brian was a joy too, there was always a run on them as I dashed from store to store.
Ahhhh, memories.
